Our Story
Born from a love of the Star City
Roanoke Cares started with a simple question: why is it so hard to find out where to recycle, who needs volunteers, or which plumber to trust — in a city as great as ours?
We set out to build the resource we always wished existed. A single, beautiful place where Roanoke residents could find everything they need to participate fully in community life.
Today, we’re proud to serve thousands of neighbors across the Roanoke Valley — and we’re just getting started.
